• To provide a forum for information exchange and networking between stakeholders including academics, clinicians, research support staff, NHS and University managers, patients and carers, commercial and non-commercial funders and patient and carer organisations.

• To strengthen collaboration between stakeholders, particularly focusing on the themes of effective research across all health care boundaries including primary care; increasing our capacity and capability to deliver commercial research; and enhancing research through meaningful patient and carer engagement.

• To evaluate DeNDRoN’s performance to date and its progress towards its main aims of increasing the volume of high quality research funded in our field; developing an NHS infrastructure capable of delivering this research on time, to target, to the highest quality standards; and raising awareness of clinical research.
