The purpose of our Writing Groups
is to support researchers to write multi-centre grant applications for NIHR Portfolio-eligible funders
DeNDRoN provides a range of support for groups depending on their need.
What kind of support does DeNDRoN offer?
Application Support- Identification of additional sites where appropriate
- Evidence based input into feasibility assessment
- Methodological input through expert Clinical Trials Units
- Support with preparing grant applications, including advice on the allocation of NHS costs
- Expert advice on application writing, presentation and design at key points
Administrative and Logical Support
- Access to a dedicated administrative team to help organise meetings, paperwork, etc
- Access to teleconference facilities, meeting rooms
- Password-protected access to an online collaborative workspace
Financial Support
- Limited budget for travel and ad-hoc expenses
Patient and Public Involvement
- Access to lay expertise via patient led focus groups
