Care Homes Writing Group
Purpose: The aim of this group is to scope areas that result in creating sustainable change in care homes and explore potential studies
Convenor: Professor Murna Downs
Chair in Dementia Studies and Head of Bradford Dementias Group
PD SWEDDS
Purpose: The aim of this group is to come to a greater understanding of the type of patients that might be mistaken clinically for Parkinson’s disease (PD), but have SWEDDs, and to discuss ideas for future network research studies on this group of patients

PD Ethnicity
Purpose: Exploration of ethnic minority under-representation in Movement Disorder clinics in the UK

PD Exercise and mood
Purpose: To scope the evidence for the role of exercise in the treatment of depression in PD and explore potential studies
Convenor: Professor Lynn Rochester
PD Exercise and motor symptoms
Purpose: The group to explore the issue of exercise for the management of motor symptoms and physical activity in mild to moderate PD and to explore potential studies
Convenor: Professor Cath Sackley
