Clinical Studies Groups

The DeNDRoN Clinical Studies Groups (CSGs) represent a central component of a new framework for neurodegeneration research in the UK, providing the primary route through which the portfolio will be developed.

The CSGs are charged with the development of a portfolio of national multi-centre and local/pilot clinical trials and other well-designed studies. The CSGs work to a broad, but common remit that includes overseeing existing studies, considering new research questions, developing proposals and securing funding from CRC partners, as well as providing expert advice. Each of the CSGs is formally constituted, with a system of membership rotation and a transparent appointment process for new Chairs.
